Pagadian City (September 12, 2019) - The opening day of
the weeklong celebration of the 67th Araw ng Zamboanga del Sur drew large crowd
for its first Color Fun Run on Tuesday.
Around 6,000 participants trooped to
three different starting locations in Pagadian City. All runners experienced
the obstacles and color craze and finished the run at the Blue Oval in Dao
Government Complex.
Spearheaded by the Provincial Medical
Center led by Dr. Maria Rovel Blancia, the fun-filled activity had three
categories. The 6k category kick-started at the Pagadian City Boulevard, the 4K
category started at the Provincial Capitol, and the 2k category set off at the
9RCDG headquarters.
Board Member John Regala thanked the
thousands of participants from the 26 municipalities and the city of Pagadian
for spending their time for the memorable event.
